Everything to Play For: OrchestraWest’s first fundraising campaign
WHY do we need to fundraise?
So in spite of the difficult financial climate we all face at the moment, we have decided to start a fundraising campaign to create an Endowment Fund, to provide that income for the years ahead. It will take as long as it takes, but our target is at least £400,000.
The income will be used to
-
develop a proper education programme,
-
secure and support our 20/20 ticket scheme to encourage different generations to come to concerts together for a fraction of the normal outlay,
-
take our performances to venues outside Taunton, and
-
strengthen OrchestraWest’s management for the future.
We also need reserves to form our contribution as part of bids to public bodies for artistic project funding.
